Forthy hour (5-day)
Criteria workshop makes sure the student understands and practices what
we consider the training fundamentals and exercises good observational
skills.
OBJECTIVES:
Learn applied behavior analytic procedures; plan simple training tasks;
evaluate behavior; establish reinforcement criteria for simple and moderately
complex behaviors; an introduction to data collection and analysis. This
workshop demands intense focus on reinforcement issues.
PREREQUISITE: Completion of the discrimination level workshop. There
is no exception to this rule.
TIME FRAME: The criteria level workshop is 40 hours over five consecutive
days.
CONTENT: Most real-world training requires quick decisions based on constantly changing behavioral criteria. Planning and implementing rapidly changing reinforcement contingencies, commonly called shaping, is the core of this workshop. The use of rapid rate of reinforcement is introduced as one means to extend behavior over time and distance. Students develop rapid decision-making skills by teaching chickens to pull on rubber bands and weighted objects, maneuvering or progressing from point A to point B, and retrieving objects. We call these kinds of complex responses non-discrete, as opposed to a very clear-cut response, such as a simple peck. To reinforce a non-discrete response, the trainer is required to set definitions and criteria and judge in real-time when contingencies are met. A trainer must not only determine whether or not to reinforce, but also deliver the reinforcement on time and in the right place; to click for action and feed for position.
Each
class is limited to 20 Students.
Total
fee for the class is 10 950 SEK (Swedish
crowns).
That include lunch and breaks, but not lodging and other meals.

of 950 SEK/person not per workshop is not refunded). We will hold you
register for 2 weeks and if you have not paid until then we send you an
E-mail to remind you, if you don't want the reservation then we'll give
it to someone else.
- If you cancel within 2 month before the workshop starts you get your money back except the Application fee of 950 SEK.
- If you cancel later than that 2 month we'll ( you and I) have to find someone to get your place until we can give you your workshop fee - application fee of 950 SEK, back to you.
- If you get sick and have a doctor to sign for it, we'll send your workshop fee - application fee of 950 SEK, back to you.

At our facility at Rommehedslägret there is lodging for 9 persons
in 3 -bed rooms, 100 SEK/person and night (about 10 Euro). No breakfast
included, there is a kitchen, internet but no shower. A bathhouse is only
5 min away with car or 10 with a bike. You need to have towels and sheets
with you or you can rent from us for 100 SEK/set. You need to clean after
yourself.
At a house near our facility at Rommehedslägret there is lodging for 6persons in 3 double rooms, 200 SEK/person and night (about 18 Euro) in 2-bed rooms. No breakfast included, there is a kitchen, bathroom and living room. You need to have towels and sheets with you or you can rent from us for 100 SEK/set. You need to clean after yourself.
